The verbal praise is hysterical as you’ll see a phrase like “Carrot is my favorite weather app,” and then need to repeat it correctly. The speech recognition APIs will make sure you’ve said the phrase correctly before receiving credit.

If you gather enough hearts by playing the games, Carrot will even start a “relationship” with you. But be forewarned, she’s called psychotic for a reason.

There are also a number of other features for users who want to steer clear of Carrot.

The app now supports Live Activities for all precipitation, not just rain. That’s perfect for the winter weather season coming up.

Thanks to the new Layout Gallery, you can find the perfect option to see the weather with interactive, scrollable previews. A new inline layout offers vertical charts, data point pickers, and more.

Finally, you can also add animated and particles to your weather maps. That can help visualize event like a hurricane.

CARROT Weather is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
