Since the December addition, Instagram says 46 percent of users have saved at least one post. And the new update will make organizing those posts easier.

To place an image into a collection, tap and hold the bookmark icon.

Users can both create a new collection or save the post to an existing one. A new collection can also be created from existing saved posts.

Available to view at any time, select the saved posts tabs on your profile to view the collections. Just to note, all collections are private meaning that only you can see what has been saved and organized.

Instagram is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. You’ll need version 10.16 of the app to use the Collections feature.
