Just like in previous years, accessory manufacturers have already started to produce cases on the rumored specifications of the new iPhone. And Japanese blog Mac Otakara recently spotted an “iPhone 8” case on sale on Chinese e-commerce site Alibaba and purchased it for a series of comparison photos and images with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The "iPhone 8" dual-lense camera system appears to be significantly larger than the iPhone 7 Plus.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen cases apparently based on the “iPhone 8” design, but it is interesting to see how it compares with Apple’s current top-of-the-line handsets.

While reportedly offering a 5.8-inch screen, shrinking the handsets bezels make the handset much closer to the size of the 4.7-inch iPhone 7. And earlier today, the first reports arrived saying that the new iPhone will offer an 18:9 aspect ratio, a change from the 16:9 screen on both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The case also shows a large opening for the vertically-mounted dual-lens camera system. There is no rear opening for the Touch ID sensor which lines up with a new rumor saying that Apple will indeed embed the feature under the front screen.
