WWDC: Making sense of the rumors
With just two weeks ago before the start of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), we’re getting a better idea what new products might be announced at the event.
Here’s where things stand, at least right now, courtesy of our trusted Magic 8-Ball:
- Siri-powered speaker … You may rely on it
- 10.5-inch iPad Pro … Reply hazy, try again
- New Macs … It is decidedly so
- Apple finally shows iPad some love in iOS 11 … As again later

At this week’s I/O conference, Google offered some big news that will benefit iOS device owners, including:
- The Google Assistant app is finally available for iPhone.
- Google Photos app will soon feature more sharing options.
- The iOS Gmail app will be the Smart Reply feature already available in Inbox by Gmail and Allo.
- You can soon use the Google Home smart speaker to connect to any mobile phone or landline in the United States or Canada for free.
