Race to the Coolest Tunes in the New Beat Racer
For those who are up for a new racing game and also appreciate great music comes Beat Racer. The neon-colored worlds you race through offers rhythmic soundscapes and colorful 3-D graphics wrapped in a racing package. Pick up the beats as you race through the streets and build up your weapons to take out enemies on your tail.
Siimple swipe controls
Swipe left and right to pick up the beats and up to jump over obstacles. The more beats you pick up the better because not only is the sound amazing but you will build up weapons to eliminate approaching enemies. You will also earn more coins and gems, which come in handy.
Eliminate enemies
Once you build up enough beats, you can take out approaching enemies by swiping down. Be sure that the enemy is directly behind you, however, because if it is not in the same lane on your tail, your weapon will miss. If an enemy catches up, you will see red before being taken away by it.
Collect coins and gems
Use your earned coins and gems to upgrade to faster racers. You can also use coins to change the color of your vehicle. Gems are helpful when you are on a good run and are captured by the enemy because you can redeem them to continue on.
Beat Racer is a unique game that incorporates electronic indie music with a street racing challenge. The graphics are superb, the sounds are truly awesome, and the overall experience sucks you in from the start. If you prefer hardcore racing adventures, then this might not be the game for you. But, as someone who does not normally play racing games, Beat Racer is one that I cannot seem to put down.
