Dodge Trains And Dance The Samba As Subway Surfers Goes On Tour In Sunny Rio
January 31, 2013
Subway Surfers, the behind-the-back endless runner featuring young graffiti artists grinding trains, has just received another update. And it's now ready to samba, so to speak.
The game's last couple of major updates last year basically delivered Halloween and Christmas themes.
But earlier this month, the game jettisoned its seasonal trappings in order to kick off the Subway Surfers World Tour.
For the tour's first stop, Subway Surfers went to New York and transformed into a rendering of the NYC Subway.
Now, Subway Surfers is ready for its second stop on the world tour. And it's none other than the festive Rio de Janeiro.
Also the setting, of course, of Angry Birds Rio, the Brazilian city is set to hold this year's Carnival next week. And in celebration of the festival, Subway Surfers virtually visits sunny Rio to let you show off your carnival moves as you dodge trains.
In addition, Subway Surfers lets you add the surfing samba dancer Carmen to your character collection.
The new version of the game also introduces a new Score Booster power-up and converts all Headstarts to Mega.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, the newly updated Subway Surfers is available now in the App Store for free.
