The official Facebook app for iOS devices has just been updated to add a pair of new features.
First up, in version 6.4 of the app, users can now search for hashtags or tap them in posts to see what other people are saying about the topic.
Users can now also make restaurant reservations directly on participating Pages in the United States.
And along with faster loading times and a cleaner design for timelines on the iPad version, the new update fixes a bug that was causing some people to see a red notification badge when there were no new notifications.
Facebook is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
