New iWatch Concept Imagines Impressive Flexible Display, iOS 7-Inspired UI

If you've been wondering how Apple could one-up rival smart watch makers, like Pebble and Cookoo, with its own so-called "iWatch," take a look at this new concept. As you can see, it imagines an Apple iWatch that features a flexible display, and is powered by an operating system not dissimilar to the company's forthcoming iOS 7. Designed by Federico Ciccarese (responsible for the iPhone 6 images we told you about earlier this year), more images from the concept are included below: Recently, we heard that Nike+ FuelBand developer Jay Blahnik had reportedly joined Apple's iWatch team, which is working on a wearable product that is likely to include many health and fitness tools, and which is said to feature a flexible display (as in the images above). From what we understand, the iWatch will be announced at some point in 2014. We'll keep you updated with further information as we receive it.
