Cydia Tweak: Auxo 2 Gets Shown Off In A Couple Of Vines
Over the weekend, the developer behind Auxo 2 – the anticipated sequel to the popular alternative iOS app switcher that launched for iPhone in 2012, and iPad in 2013 – provided fans with a preview of the upcoming package. In a couple of Vines, developer “Sentry” (@Sentry_NC) showed how the refined iOS 7 app switcher is going to work, and the package indeed looks promising.
Given that Apple implemented the essence of Auxo in iOS 7, the second-generation package maintains a similar-style app pages interface that users can scroll through. The process of activating Auxo 2 comes in the form of a slide-up gesture, and this seems to make app switching possible with one single, carefully placed swipe.
Both videos are embedded below, though they really do give little away. The main points, however, are that Auxo 2 seems to fit in well with iOS 7, and that progress is being made on the package. We’ve been told to expect Auxo 2’s release this month, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that this deadline will be met.

How do you like the design of Auxo 2?
Of course, Auxo 2 isn’t the only jailbreak tweak that aims to improve the iOS 7 app switcher. Another upcoming package called Vertex promises to bring an OS X Mission Control-inspired app switcher to iOS 7. It looks fairly impressive, though we’re not sure when Vertex will become available.
