The Anticipated Auxo 2 Jailbreak Tweak Is Coming April 2

March 31, 2014

Auxo 2, the anticipated “spiritual successor” to the original Auxo jailbreak tweak, is set to launch on the Cydia Store on April 2, according to the folks at A3 Tweaks (@A3Tweaks). The new package promises to enhance iOS multitasking under iOS 7 through the addition of a revised interface, enhanced features, and new gestures.

The folks at A3 Tweaks published a promotional video for Auxo 2 recently, and we’ve embedded this below (via Andrew Roth). It seems at the end of the video that the title of the package – Auxo 2 – shows a release date of “April 2” reflected beneath this.

Following the video's appearance, iDownloadBlog contacted Sentry (@Sentry_NC), the designer of the jailbreak tweak, who confirmed that Auxo 2 will indeed launch on April 2. Here’s the video:

The original Auxo was hailed as one so-called “reason to jailbreak,” providing users with miniature app previews in the multitasking tray – an idea Apple subsequently incorporated within iOS 7.

Though little is known about Auxo 2, as the above video demonstrates the new package optimizes a similar Auxo experience for iOS 7, it adds a gesture to enable multitasking, and it allows users to easily close all “open” apps. It also offers a “CMD + Tab”-style shortcut that allows users to more quickly switch between iOS apps, too.

We’ll let you know once Auxo 2 is available on the Cydia Store – as mentioned, it’s expected to launch on April 2.
