Cydia Tweak: CCBackground Can Add A Wallpaper To iOS 7's Control Center
CCBackground, another Control Center-enhancing jailbreak tweak, allows users to add a wallpaper to the iOS 7 Control Center interface. You can pick up the package free of charge on the Cydia Store now, and it’s optimized for both iOS 7 and ARM64-devices.
Developer The JailPad launched CCBackground on the Cydia Store recently, and once downloaded and installed, the package adds a new preferences pane to the built-in Settings app.
Here, jailbreakers can enable or disable the jailbreak tweak, and as you’d expect users must also select an image for CCBackground to use. You can pick an image from anywhere in the Photos app, and this usefully can also include one’s Photo Stream or even shared Photo Streams. After an image has been chosen, tap “Done” in the Settings app and respring your iOS device.
From here, Control Center should feature the background selected above upon being activated. After testing CCBackground I’ve had mixed success, however; if an image you select doesn’t work as it should, pick another (perhaps lower resolution) picture and see how you go.
Since CCBackground is available free of charge, though, it’s definitely worth taking for a spin if you’re looking to spice up Control Center. As mentioned, it’s available on the Cydia Store now, and is optimized for iOS 7 and ARM64-devices.
