Powerful third-party calendar app Fantastical 2 has just received a noteworthy update with a nice improvement. The week view layout has now been revamped when showing many overlapping events. Here’s a list of specific fixes as well:
Fixed a problem where alerts for reminders didn't update when using Move or Duplicate Fixed a problem where posting to Facebook from a birthday wouldn't work Fixed a problem where events in the week view could temporarily appear with the wrong colorThere are two different versions of Fantastical 2 available to download on the App Store. Fantastical 2 for iPhone can be purchased for $4.99 while the edition designed for the iPad/iPad mini is $9.99. While that’s a pretty penny to pay for a functionality that iOS 7 already provides, Fantastical 2 is more than worth it. I use both apps, and it finally has brought some sanity to my overflowing calendar. The AppAdvice staff also agrees with me as both versions were named App of the Week shortly after their release. Most recently, the iPad version nabbed the honor in April.
