Finish update for iOS 8 brings a Notification Center widget and more to the to-do app
Popular to-do app Finish has gotten even more useful with its new update for iOS 8.
First up, the app offers users a handy Notification Center widget, one of my favorite iOS 8 features. That means you’ll be able to take a quick peek at your next three tasks, and even mark something as completed, without having to open the app. You can even add a task by tapping the “+” button in the widget.
The other big new feature is interactive notifications. When you receive a task due notification, you’ll now have two choices – finish or stall. Stalling will push the to-do back a day.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Finish can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. A $1.99 in-app purchase will allow you to add unlimited tasks with specific due times.
The freemium switch happened back with the last major update, which arrived in March. To read more about how the app works, take a look at our original review.
