Tempo Smart Calendar goes universal with a new update
One of my favorite third-party calendar apps, Tempo Smart Calendar, has just received a big update with the move to version 1.5.
The app is now universal, adding support for the iPad/iPad mini along with the iPhone/iPod touch.
Tablet users should really enjoy the new month, week, and agenda views specifically designed for the larger screen. It is also optimized for five new languages – French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Developer Tempo AI also announced that the app will soon be available to download in Europe, Central America, and South America.
Tempo Smart Calendar can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
Before the most recent update, the last major revision arrived back in July. Version 1.4 offered support for natural language input and more.
Recently, Uber also selected Tempo as one of 11 partners to help launch its developer API. With the partnership, Tempo users can find and call an Uber ride directly from the app. It also auto fills your destination, saving you even more time.
I’ve enjoyed using Tempo for quite a while on my iPhone, and I’m thrilled to see it make the move to the larger screen of the iPad and iPad mini. It’s a great alternative to Fantastical 2.
