This season, Rovio presents three holiday tournaments in Angry Birds Friends
Not content with releasing the holiday-themed “On Finn Ice” episode in Angry Birds Seasons, Rovio is now presenting special holiday tournaments in Angry Birds Friends.
In celebration of the holiday season, the free-to-play competitive edition of Angry Birds is letting you compete with your friends in not one, not two, but three holiday-themed tournaments.
“It’s that time of year again!” Rovio notes. “Angry Birds Friends is back with a TRIPLE Holiday Tournament!”
From today, Dec. 15, 2014, through Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, you can play back-to-back holiday-themed weekly tournaments. These tournaments, as shown in the trailer below, feature presents, fireworks, and more:

Angry Birds Friends was previously updated late last October with the global league tournament along with a special Halloween-themed tournament.
Earlier this month, Rovio updated Angry Birds Star Wars II with a new “Revenge of the Pork” chapter and the original Angry Birds with a new fan art-inspired episode in celebration of the game’s fifth “BirdDay.”
