Best Buy Co. Inc., has announced that it will begin selling the second-generation iPad beginning tomorrow at 5 p.m. local time. Customers will be given tickets to purchase the iPad 2 on a first come, first serve basis at 4:30 p.m.

Great news, Apple fans: Best Buy, Sam’s Club, and Walmart will sell the iPad 2 from day one. The second generation device, which was announced yesterday by Steve Jobs, is scheduled to launch in the U.S. on Friday, March 11.

Best Buy is now offering store pickup for the Verizon iPhone, which is available to purchase from the retailer for $199.99 (16GB), or $299.99 (32GB).

Following the iPad’s arrival at Target this Sunday, it seems that Apple has also given Amazon the green light this week to start distributing it. This makes the giant online retailer the third non-Apple store to sell the iPad, following Target and Best Buy. It also makes Amazon the second online retailer to sell it aside from Apple.
