Siri might not always be able to recognise my British accent, but that's not the biggest problem international iPhone users face with Apple's "humble personal assistant." Because Siri is still technically "in beta," folks living outside of the U.S. still can't search for local businesses using the iPhone 4S's flagship feature. However, one new jailbreak tweak can help international iPhone users out in this department, according to iDownloadBlog.
A new jailbreak tweak called HomeSpringPage allows jailbreakers to create a new Home screen page, which is reserved specifically for Dashboard X widgets.
There have been battery life Notification Center widgets in the past, some of which looked rather good - such as the simplistic BatteryCenter, or the rather complex PowerCenter Pro. Now, one new jailbreak tweak combines the appealing appearance of the former with the detailed information provided by the latter: it's called BatteryInfo for Notification Center, and the tweak is currently available in the Cydia Store for $0.99.
Already, we've seen jailbreak tweaks that disable the iPhone's passcode-lock when the handset is connected to a "home" network (see, for example, Filippo Bigarella’s CleverPin). However, a new tweak which offers similar functionality works quite well, and is worth a mention (plus, it's available for free).
A couple of days ago, we told you about Dashboard X - an upcoming jailbreak tweak that allows users to add widgets to their iOS device's Home screen. Now, the package is finally available to download in the Cydia Store, where it can be purchased (via the ModMyi repository) for $1.99.

If you keep accidentally activating Notification Center in your favorite full-screen iOS app, consider downloading DisableNC Switch – a jailbreak tweak that allows users to disable Notification Center for full-screen applications.
AT&T might be unlocking off-contract iPhones, and it might even be possible to unlock jailbroken iPhone 4 and 4S handsets using the SAM package, but that doesn't mean the folks over at Applenberry are giving up.
The iPhone Dev-Team has recently released an updated version of redsn0w, which allows jailbreakers to back-up their iPhone's activation tickets thanks to the SAM unlock. Now, instead of manually backing-up activation tickets using, for example, iFile, jailbreak fans can have redsn0w do all the work for them.
The Chinese iPhone hacker Loktar_Sun has, according to a number of reports, released an unlock method that supports Apple's iPhone 4S. In order to take advantage of the solution, all you need is a jailbroken iPhone handset that iTunes is recognising (i.e., that hasn't been blacklisted).
If you’re the kind of jailbreaker who likes to spice-up an iPhone’s Lock screen, but cares for settings toggles rather than weather widgets, consider downloading LSCameraExtender.
FastLock ($0.99) is a new jailbreak tweak that can add a number of handy shortcuts to users' Lock Screen. Once downloaded and installed, a series of actions can be performed from the Lock Screen simply after double-pressing the Home button. As you can see in the above image, the tweak has been well designed and looks like something we could imagine Apple developing.
