For the first time in more than a month, Facebook has updated its immensely popular app for iOS devices.
There are two changes in version 6.9. First, users can select whose posts they see in their News Feed. That feature will definitely come in handy during election season.
And iPhone users can now see all the videos they’ve uploaded in a single album.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Facebook can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
Before the most recent update, version 6.8, arrived in December. That brought the "wonderful" ability for videos to play automatically in a News Feed. Thankfully, you’ll need to tap the video to hear sound.
The social media giant has also been busy on a number of other fronts. Last week, it announced a program to test its ads in third-party smartphone apps. It is also reportedly gearing up to launch its own Flipboard-like news reader.
