Just in time for the new year, Apple goes global with its 'Start Something New' campaign

Apple has gone global with its new “Start Something New” campaign, just a few days after soft-launching it in Japan.

Apparently, with the expanded campaign, Apple hopes to encourage people around the world to welcome the new year with the prospect of starting something new using iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

The campaign takes the form of a special webpage on Apple’s official website and linked from Apple’s homepage. It contains a gallery of notable works produced by various visual artists, photographers, and filmmakers using Apple products and, in some cases, third-party iOS and Mac apps. As noted by Apple:

Every piece in this gallery was created on an Apple product. Every brushstroke, every pixel and every frame of film was brought to life by talented Apple users from around the world. As you explore their work, we hope it inspires you to create something new.

Apple products featured in the campaign include the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus, the iPad Air 2, the iMac, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and the built-in iOS Camera app. And third-party iOS and Mac apps spotlighted in the gallery include VSCO Cam, Brushes 3, Slow Shutter!, iDraw, Waterlogue, and Procreate.
