Rovio updates Angry Birds Epic, Go! and Stella with holiday content and more
The Finnish entertainment company Rovio has just released notable updates to three of the latest titles in its hugely popular Angry Birds franchise: Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Go!, and Angry Birds Stella.
The biggest update is arguably the one issued to the fantasy RPG Angry Birds Epic as it introduces the game’s long-awaited player-versus-player mode, which lets you take on other players in the new PvP Arena. As noted by Rovio:
Player. Versus. Player. Is. Here. Get ready to enter the Bird Arena! Challenge your friends and the world in the ultimate test of mettle. Grab your best birds, equip your most powerful weapons, and steel yourself for an EPIC showdown! Full suit of armor is optional, but recommended.
The latest update to Angry Birds Epic also includes an upcoming special holiday event.

The kart racing game Angry Birds Go is also riding with the holiday bandwagon as it’s been updated with a holiday-themed kart in the form of none other than Santa’s sleigh. The Kris Kringle kart is available for free in the Christmassy Sub-Zero levels.
For its part, the recently updated girl power-driven physics-based puzzle game Angry Birds Stella is offering holiday levels as rewards for playing new levels.
Most notably, the new version of Angry Birds Stella features a new Golden Island map filled with special event levels and introduces new pigs on the block, including CrossFit Pig, Boom Pig, and Necro Pig.
The latest update to the game also adds the ability to “choose which birds to use and when” and “assemble sets for awesome perks.”

Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Go!, and Angry Birds Stella are all free to download from the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Earlier this month, Rovio updated Angry Birds Seasons with a new Finland- and holiday-themed episode called “On Finn Ice,” Angry Birds Star Wars II with a new “Revenge of the Pork” chapter, the original Angry Birds with new levels celebrating its “5th BirdDay,” and Angry Birds Friends with three holiday tournaments.
