Jailbreak Only: TinyUmbrella Updated - Gets Support For iOS 5.1 Beta

TinyUmbrella has received an update that adds support for the recently released beta version of iOS 5.1. Though we would not recommend jailbreak fans updating to this version of the iOS (as there's currently no known means of downgrading, and no untethered jailbreak solution is available for iOS 5 or above), if you do decide to take iOS 5.1 beta for a spin on your iOS device, be sure to save your SHSH blobs first.

Jailbreak Only: NoStoreButton - Remove That Pesky Store Button From The Music App

If, like me, you hardly use the iTunes Store and opt instead for physical music in the form of CDs and the occasional vinyl, "NoStoreButton" (which, in my head I continually refer to as "StoreNoMore"), is the jailbreak tweak for you. Once downloaded, the package removes the Store button from the top-left corner of the Music app, eliminating the possibility that, while listening to music from within the application, you might accidentally touch the icon and find yourself within the iTunes Store app.

Jailbreak Only: MobileMonitor - Big Brother Meets Your iPhone

A new jailbreak tweak called "MobileMonitor" takes iPhone espionage to the next level. Once installed, the package works under-the-hood, automatically sending data from any given iPhone handset to a website, where information such as SMS messages, GPS location, Camera Roll images and more can be viewed remotely. The service, which appears to target parents and employers as its main clientele, is free to try but will set users back $19.90/month once this trial period has expired.

Custom Shortcuts, No Jailbreaking Required

Custom Shortcuts, No Jailbreaking Required

There is currently no iPhone 4S jailbreak. However, one of jailbreaking’s most impressive feature, SBSettings toggles, can be recreated on Apple’s latest handset, according to iDownloadBlog. Best of all, all that is required is an app available in the App Store.
