App Store Description

Explore the fascinating history of Kalamunda through the photographs and memories of people who lived and worked in this area.

On these trails you will visit significant sites and discover their hidden histories. You will take a step back in time by looking at historic photographs, and listening to oral history excerpts from former residents, workers and visitors. See the way the area has changed over time, and perhaps revisit your own memories of Kalamunda! Trail times are estimated at a leisurely pace.

Kalamunda is located on the Darling Escarpment, just 25km east of Perth. A beautiful and unique area to live in and visit, the name is derived from the Aboriginal words Cala (home/hearth) and Munnda (forest) – meaning ‘a home in the forest’.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
