Cydia Tweak: CalmCall Brings A More Subdued Green In-Call Bar To Apple's iOS
CalmCall is a recent addition to the Cydia Store that brings a toned down, more subdued green in-call bar to Apple’s iOS. You can pick up the new package free of charge, and it’s optimized for both iOS 7 and ARM64-devices.
Enabling CalmCall is a simple affair: just download and install the jailbreak tweak from the Cydia Store, and it’ll instantly alter how the green in-call bar appears in Apple’s iOS. As a reminder, this in-call bar appears when users exit the Phone app mid-call, and it provides a shortcut for returning to the application, too.
The green bar also displays text depending on whether you’re engaging in a traditional phone call or a FaceTime call, however because the bar is colored a bright shade of green, this white text (along with the white font of the iOS status bar) can be difficult to read.
CalmCall fixes this by “calming down” the color of the in-call bar, reducing the brightness of the shade to a more mid-range green. To be honest, I didn’t notice the change after installing CalmCall, but after comparing it alongside the stock call bar the difference is significant.

As such, if you’ve previously found the green in-call bar to be a little too bright, download CalmCall. It’s available free of charge on the Cydia Store, and is optimized for iOS 7 and ARM64-devices.
