Duet Game, a wonderful twitch reflex title, is now free to download on the App Store
Developer Kumobius has made my week. After updating its fantastic Bean Dreams yesterday with 12 new levels, the company has now made its Pivvot-esque Duet Game free to download on the App Store. It usually costs $2.99.
The twitch reflex title is quite fun to play and sucks you in with the simplistic premise, minimalistic visuals, and some wonderful music. Gamers need to maneuver two circles in harmony around a number of difficult obstacles.
Duet Game is universal for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. With an update last week, users can unlock a new Encore Mode with a $0.99 in-app purchase.
The mode includes 30 new stages and a new narrative. Players will get to use two new game changing mechanics while listening to more music from fantastic composer Tim Shiel.
Originally hitting the App Store in late 2013, our own Christine Chan talked more about Duet Game in her review:
Even though it’s painfully difficult at times, that’s to be expected of games of this nature. I’m enjoying the elegant and smooth visuals, amazing soundtrack, and the challenging gameplay. I highly recommend checking this one out if you enjoy twitch reflex titles.
It also nabbed an honorable mention in our AppAdvice Game of the Week awards shortly after its release.
As always, if you’re looking for other free titles, take a look at our daily Apps Gone Free column. Today’s apps include a weather radar app and more.
If you haven’t downloaded Duet Game, now is a perfect time to. It will definitely keep any gamer entertained for hours.
