AppAdvice Daily: iOS 4.3.1 Jailbreak, TrapCall Controversy, And Appisode 300 Is Coming!
The iPhone Dev-Team has just released an updated version of redsn0w. The new version of the software can provide an untethered jailbreak solution for iDevices running iOS 4.3.1: Apple's latest version of the iOS.
An untethered jailbreak solution is coming soon for iOS 4.3.1, according to @MuscleNerd. The vocal Dev-Team member recently replied to a fan on Twitter, confirming that @i0n1c's "untether is solid," and that a few minor issues need to be fixed before the solution is released.
A new tweak called iSocialShare allows users of jailbroken iDevices to share photos to social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. The process is incredibly fast and happens within the Photo app on the iPhone/iPod touch or iPad.
The Gold Master version of iOS 4.3, which was seeded to developers a couple of days ago, is already “jailbreakable” thanks to the latest version of PwnageTool. Currently, PwnageTool can only provide a “tethered” solution. But, if you’re a jailbreak fan and want to run iOS 4.3 GM, this method is undoubtedly the best solution.
The famous iPhone baseband unlocker, @sherif_hashim, recently confirmed that he has found an ultrasn0w exploit that is "working for both" the new basebands - 3.10.01 and 2.10.04. Hopefully, the updated version of ultrasn0w will be available in the weeks following iOS 4.3's release.
FireCore recently updated its Seas0nPass jailbreak tool. Now, the software can provide Mac owners with an untethered solution for their second generation set top box. While a Windows version is not currently available, FireCore notes that it will be “available soon.”
