Mike was born in Poland but moved to California at age 9. Mike has graduated from Chico State with a degree in journalism in spring '10 and lives in Cupertino (Apple headquarters) currently. He hopes to continue writing about games and technology and loves his iPad. He got it as a graduation gift along with an iPhone 4 but the iPad is Mike's real device of choice. Mike also owns an iMac (that has bootcamp and OS X), a Windows laptop, a Wii, and a Dreamcast. Mike also has a passion in film and enjoys training mixed martial arts. He also loves history especially reading about the battle of Stalingrad or ancient warriors like the spartans. The iPhone tower defense game Holy Moly Dragons, has recently been updated. This 2.0 update adds two new levels called Murky Waters and Shattered Temple. The game is fun and colorful; taking place in a fantasy world with dragons.
A recently released innovative tower defense game, A Knights Dawn, has just been updated to version 1.001. The game offers a fantasy-medieval take on the genre with enemies coming up stairways from multiple levels.
The first Gameloft game to utilize Epic's Unreal 3 engine will be called March of Heroes. The details of the title are still sketchy, but more will be revealed at the E3 Expo in the coming days.
Gameloft recently released a trailer for its upcoming crime thriller 9mm. The game looks like it draws inspiration from the GTA series; the trailer shows hoodlums battling it out over drug money.

A new productivity app has recently arrived for the iPhone, it's called Seembee. The app allows you to turn your iDevice into a personal archive system. Using Seembee, you can upload snapshots, scanned documents and image files.

A new hidden object game has been released for the iPad by Big Fish Games. Awakening - Moonfell Wood HD is a sequel to Awakening: The Dreamless Castle HD. This game has you guiding Princess Sophia on her journey to find her family and friends in a mysterious castle.
To-Fu: The Trials of Chi is the latest game to hit the App Store for iDevices (including an HD version) that offers quirky and innovative platforming. The game lets you control a To-Fu by stretching and slingshotting him across platforms and walls. There are tons of levels to overcome and hours of fun.
