About
Sean Capelle
App reviewer, Apple geek, father of three, bass guitarist, wombat tamer: one of these things is made up, but the rest do a pretty good job of describing Sean.
This game has you going from town to town in the old west, infecting any townsperson you come upon. In most games, you're trying to get rid of the zombies, but the tables are turned this time around. Zombify the townspeople by strategically firing cursed items at them.
The developer has updated the game since its release in February. Some of the graphics have been enhanced, as well as an improvement on responsiveness. These changes were based on feedback from those who purchased the app.
The spaceship the spacemen were traveling in has been compromised, and it’s up to you to help them find their way to the nearest emergency exit. They won’t need to worry about walking instead of running because they’ve lost control of gravity.
This app brings the French-originated card game to iOS. Perhaps you haven’t heard of it, but chances are you’ve played another card game very similar to it; namely, Hearts.
What’s a cannibal to do? All they want is to chow on the indigenous Nibblers, but hassles such as finding ingredients, keeping the water boiling, and dealing with any would-be Nibbler rescuers really make it hard to just enjoy a simple meal.
This game has you running for your life as asteroids rain down on your parade. Try to stay alive for as long as you can and gather coins and hearts to increase your score.
Gather the clouds around you to increase in size. The larger you become, you’ll be able to destroy the obstacles smaller than you, which scores more points.
The Evil is threatening the world, and it’s up to Commander Cool to save it (again). Armed with a pistol and a parachute, he has 35 levels to plow his way through.
This is a fun and challenging game, especially once the game starts ramping up in speed. I would definitely recommend this for any gamer looking to test his or her reflexes.
The game mimics the gangster “knife game,” where a player splays his or her fingers outward on a table, and has to stab a knife between the gaps of each finger.
The story focuses on Thaddeus the Cabbit. “What is a ‘cabbit?’” you may ask. Well, it’s not quite a cat and not quite a rabbit, but it sure does have a sweet tooth for carrots.
Freemium is certainly present in the App Store, but it is based on business model that isn’t as reliable or straightforward as paid apps. Compounding this is the demand of customers to get free content from the Web.
Puzzle fans will definitely want to give this game a shot. Fans of Triple Town might enjoy the change of scenery, and those unfamiliar with either game will be pleasantly surprised.
You play a shotgun-touting guy who needs to rid Earth of invading Martians. That’s about as original as it gets. Everything else is downhill from there.
A far cry from the Easter Bunny, and not quite Usagi Yojimbo from the "Ninja Turtle" series, this rabbit is fiercely determined to kick some alien butt.
Shopping lists, to-do items, homework planner. The list of possibilities can go on. Sure, you can use Apple’s Reminders or Notes, but this app is both of those in one.
